Pierrick de Stexhe

Pierrick de Stexhe (1994), architecte praticien depuis 2017 (ULiège), se passionne très tôt pour la photographie. Une enfance bercée par les travaux photographiques familiaux l’initie notamment à la beauté des négatifs ainsi qu’à la composition des cadrages qu’il exerce depuis ses débuts. La photographie et l’architecture se retrouvent naturellement mêlées dans son parcours, devenant des éléments indissociables. Outre la prise de vue de projets de sa pratique architecturale, l’auteur vise avant tout la sauvegarde et la mise en valeur du patrimoine construit belge.

Pierrick de Stexhe (1994), a practising architect since 2017 and an alumnus of ULiège, developed a passion for photography at an early age. A childhood surrounded by family photographs introduced him to the beauty of negatives and the composition of shots—to techniques he has been practicing ever since. Photography and architecture are naturally intertwined in his work, to the point that they become inseparable. In addition to shooting projects as part of his architectural practice, Pierrick’s main aim is to preserve and highlight Belgium’s architectural heritage.
